it isn't japanese. it is a Swahili term.
hakuna - there is not
matata - plural form of problem
literal meaning: <there are no problems or No Problem>

ngek..di nyo ba alam yung kanta nila sa lion king? .kantahin nyo na lang eh..di ba? yung sa kanta nila timon and pumba.. hakuna matata..it means no worries for the rest of your day..hakuna matata.. kaya un..no problemo.. may animated series yan sila dati pinalabas sa gma eh,lagi ko din pinapanood.. haayy..kakamiss na talaga si don timoteo..
